I have made a personal decision to keep my costs as low as I can, particularly in the current economic climate. This reflects my own spiritual beliefs as a Triratna Buddhist. You can find my tarriff by clicking on the button to the right, but please feel free to ask me about Dana.

Slow Down When Someone Dies is a book written by Lin Carruthers and Kate Clark of Pushing Up The Daisies. It gives a lot practical and emotional advice and support. A wee gem of a book, well worth a read whatever your situation.

If you are experiencing financial hardship and need advice on how to organise an affordable funeral, you may wish to contact funerallink.org.uk, a Dundee based team on 01382 458 800.

After the Last Breath

When someone we love has passed on, it’s all too easy to slip into ‘must do’ mode. Suddenly, while we’re still in a state of shock or distress, we find ourselves making all sorts of decisions. It’s important to take the time we need to adjust.

Pushing up the Daisies is a Scottish charity (SC046808) which encourages people to just that. Immediately after a death, do nothing. Just breathe. Be with your loved one. Be with your family. Don’t feel that you have to rush into making decisions about what to do next.

Nowadays many of our relatives are taken directly from a hospital, hospice or care home to a funeral parlour, but other, more traditional, options are available. If this is something you and your loved ones would like to explore please don’t be afraid to ask me for more information. As a member of the Daisy Chain and a Celebrant, I’m here to help you make the right decision for you. Alternatively, take time to have a look over the Pushing up the Daisies website.
